The Cummins K50N natural gas engine is designed for 900-1200 kWe generator packages operating at 50 Hz and 1500 RPM. The series uses a 50.3-litre, 16-cylinder V configuration with turbocharging and water-to-air intercooling for industrial power applications. K50N-G9, G10, G11H, and G12H configurations cover the stated output range for generator packagers and gas engine service companies. It is suited to small power plants, distributed-energy projects, oil fields, and natural gas well operations with an appropriate gas supply.
